Timothy Dalton
Lord Milori is voice by Timothy Dalton. He also played Prince Baron in Flash Gordon. That's where else I know him from, I'm not sure about anyone else though. He is also James Bond. His voice is soft yet stern. It's one of those voices that when angered you cannot tell and all you hear is pure disappointment. So it's really rather perfect for Milori. I like it a lot. I also find it very fatherly. Yes, I'm saying that's a word. It's caring, soft and yet you don't want to upset it. Not everyone can pull that off. I know I can't. It's just a really soothing voice.
And I'll be honest. I recognized the voice but I couldn't place it. I got into a fight with my brain about it. I was like "Liam Neeson!" but that was so very not right. I knew for a fact it was not Liam Neeson, there was no accent. But I kept going "LIAM NEESON!" So afterwards I watched the credit roll and it was like "Timothy Dalton" and then I was like "Oh yeah! Wait......MOM! WHO IS TIMOTHY DALTON?" Then she couldn't think of anything I've seen with him in it. And so I broke out the Internet Movie Database app and looked him up. "Flash Gordon; Prince Baron (Timothy Dalton)" Then we both went "oh." I'm not really ashamed to admit this either. I don't hear his voice that often, so it's harder to point out. But I think he did a great job.
Other actors I wouldn't mind for Milori are: Liam Neeson, Dustin Hoffman, Sir Ian McKellan and Liam O'Brien. I think they would work because they are other actors/voice actors who have soft voices. Though, I am quite fond of Timothy Dalton as his voice actor.
